This is the easiest to understand and has the largest amount of information. Helped me get a quarter of the AP European history test and helped many of my friends to get five. After using this, all other history books seem to be unorganized and useless. Kagan is a genius, like Mr. Nitz

Although the text tends to be in relation to dates (one paragraph is about 1300, then the next section is back to 1200) is generally a good tool for the student of European history.

I took AP Euro as a sophomore. This book was an important factor for me to get a 5 on the exam. His sometimes blunt, but with the right teacher this book will woneders AP test in May. Im takin AP Us now and my book is anecdotal and written in a narrative style. so its almost impossible to take notes in. This book is divided into chapters, some of which relate to social issues of that particular time, otheres to political and economic. In short, if you are looking for three or more AP Exams euros, this is the book for you.

Within my AP Euro class with affection in this book as Kagan (the first author that, in comparison with other McKay our textbook). I have to say the opposite of another review talking about the comparison of Bailey’s book The American pageant. The consensus I’ve found now that my vote is the U.S. study, is a nostalgia for Kagan as Baily pretensiously be written. Kagan onoxious memorable filledwith still not writing. The type of high quality writing when answering a question in class and your reply will automatically use the same that is used in the textbook without notice.

  5. So far, I was completely in love with European nothing and nothing to do with history. Then of course they are enrolled in AP Euro. Hist. During my school. I must say that I have never read a textbook more boring and less comprehensive than this, and certainly feel that you are taking my deep love for history-based. It explores concepts in an extremely vague, almost to the point where it makes the reader (or at least I) want to go out and record. I asked my teacher if I use an old textbook called “History of the Modern World,” which, despite his advanced age and lack of pictures (I love my photo), I find it much more interesting and much much, much broader than “Western Heritage” could be. Compare the reading of this book and spending an hour and a half each night watching and studying “Mr. Roger neighborhood, and you will understand what I mean by” boring. “My best advice is to drink large amounts of caffeine before attempting reading this book.
