When you want amazing music based in metal that isn’t aggressive and 100 mph, this is so damn good. When you do, it’s time for me to get back to my thrash!
This is defiantly the next album I’m going to buy I’m gonna get the deluxe edition with that badass cover and DVD included because opeth. Is worth spending 20$ on record
This IS death metal since Opeth redefine the boundaries of death metal with every album. This is an airtight semantic tautology, so if you disagree, you’re. . .well, you’re wrong.

First time I’ve ever heard this album. I never really was an Opeth fan when their albums came out, but I’m truly, truly digging this. Just when I think I have pegged their influences, they do a quick little number and throw me completely off. Simply an amazing album, and my respect for them has risen twentyfold
Bands that never evolve… get boring. This is without a doubt THE BEST full album that any band has released in the last 5 years. Best of Opeth’s career and that’s saying ALOT because we all love their catalog. Great album. Great production.
This album makes me want to sail to an island get wasted and party on the beach.

Holy fuck this album is no less than stellar. This is the album that got me into Opeth and I’m loving it. I wish i had found this earlier.
I’m not such a big fan of their growling songs and stuff…
