My grandmothers last name is Bell (Louisiana) and the name of my grandparents passed Bowie (nee). But there is a twist that makes this even more difficult. . Im black and I think it may be more difficult for me to find my heritage for the last names because of slavery and plantations under the name of the family. . So how I can find my heritage?
